Our Office

Wayne R. Perron, M.D., F.R.C.S.(C.) and staff are pleased to welcome you to our practice. Dr. Perron is a Plastic Surgeon specializing in Aesthetic Surgery. His practice is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dr. Perron values an open and straightforward approach to treatment, and our office staff delivers very personalized preoperative and postoperative care in a relaxed setting. We strive to provide our patients with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities in a comfortable, professional environment. Surgery is preformed on site in our own non-hospital surgical facility.

Staff

Ms. Barbara Watts, R.N. has a very large practice in the use of BOTOX® and injectables for the correction of deep facial creases and lines. She is one of the largest injectors of collagen and non-collagen (Hyaluronic acid) products in Canada. On a regular basis, Ms. Watts instructs physicians and nurse injectors on injection techniques. Ms. Watts has 15 years of experience in the use of corrective skin care products and in the use of injections for facial aesthetics. She also employs the use of elos™ technology lasers ( Aurora™ and Polaris™ ) for skin resurfacing.

Ms. Brenda Richter is the office administrative manager. She will do her utmost to accommodate your booking and scheduling needs in relation to any surgical procedures that you may want. She is assisted by Ms. Linda Stalts-Letkeman and Ms. Deborah Crape.

Ms. Lana Nielsen, R.N. has 20 years experience as a registered nurse. She is a member of the Surgical Suite Staff. In this capacity, she is the coordinator of Preoperative and Postoperative teaching and actively assists in the operating room. She also has a very large practice in hair removal and skin resurfacing using the elos™ technology lasers (Aurora™ and Polaris™). She also uses the Velasmooth™ technology for the treatment of cellulite alone and following liposuction.

Ms. Kate Howard, R.N. is a member of the Surgical Suite Staff. She is in charge of the Recovery Room. She has many years experience in this capacity and works closely with Dr. M. Dobberthien to ensure safety in the immediate postoperative period.

Ms. Carol Carruthers, R.N.,B.N. is a member of the Surgical Suite Staff. She has 18 years experience working in women’s health and in the operating room. As patient care coordinator in the Surgical Suite, she actively advises and assists patients in the Perioperative period.

Dr. Marion Dobberthien, M.D., F.R.C.S. is a specialist in Anesthesia. She is in charge of the Anesthetic Department She is on active staff at the Rockyview Hospital as an anesthetist.

Financing

Visa, MasterCard, cash, personal cheques, and money orders are accepted. The details of payment for each individual procedure, which includes the cost of surgery, a facility fee, and/or anesthetic fees, can be discussed for each individual procedure with the appropriate schedule of payment reviewed.

Third-party payment options are available as well. Specifics of this option can be reviewed and discussed at the time of the surgical consultation.
